I am PhD student at the Mathematical Institute, University of Bern, since September 2016. I am working on non-classical logics, mainly from a proof-theoretic standpoint, under the supervision of George Metcalfe. After my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at the University of Trento, I received my Master of Science in Logic at the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation, University of Amsterdam. My master thesis, supervised by Dick de Jongh (ILLC) and Marta Bílková (Charles University in Prague), was about minimal propositional logic and some of its subsystems, with particular focus on the negation operator. More generally, I am interested in studying the interaction between the proof-theoretic and the algebraic approach to non-classical logic.
